I adored the elegant decor of the hotel, with its classic mahogany and Italian marble evoking the refined ambiance of an opulent cruise ship. The general areas were spacious and well-designed, making it easy for senior people to navigate and relax. The accessibility for senior people was marvelous, with comfortable seating areas and gentle lighting creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

I would have appreciated a more comprehensive range of activities tailored specifically for senior guests.

The rooms at Excelsior Hotel Downtown are absolutely stunning - the luxurious marble-appointed bathrooms with walk-in showers and Jacuzzis are a real treat. As a guest who appreciates modern comfort, I felt pampered and relaxed in the spacious and stylish suite with a 42-inch LCD TV.

I didn't personally fancy the bidet in the bathroom, but I understand that others may find it convenient.

We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning that kept us energized for the day.

His genuine care and assistance made a significant impact on my overall experience at the hotel. We were also impressed by the free shuttle service, tours/ticket assistance, and happy hour at the lobby bar. The amenities provided in the rooms including the soundproofed walls, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, mini-bar, and in-room safes were convenient and made us feel at home.

We recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay. The only area that let it down was that some of the staff members, especially some reception managers, were not as professional as we'd expected.
